What we can offer you: Employee Assistance ProgramAnnual onsite health & wellness checkPrescription safety glassesPeace of Mind:Life InsuranceCritical Illness InsuranceStudy SupportCorporate DiscountsRecognition:Health & Safety AwardsKotahi AwardsResponsibilities of the role include: Manage the day to day operations for the Lines Team ensuring projects are undertaken in a timely, safely and cost effective manner.Ensure forward works are planned, scheduled, costed and resourced in order to optimise the performance of the team.Build strong long term relationships with our customers ensuring they see Horizon Services as a preferred supplier with excellent customer service and technical support.To be successful, a candidate is preferred to have the following qualifications, experience and skills: Current NZ EWRB Practising LicenceNZ Line Mechanic QualificationLive line experience would be an advantage but not essentialMust have a minimum of 5 years post qualification experience in directly relevant activitiesFamiliar with distribution systems and associated procedures up to and including 33kVKnowledge of tree compliance regulations and vegetation management procedures desirableKnowledge of all relevant industry rules and regulations including the Health & Safety at Work Act 2015, SMEI's and business SWPs, SOP'sThe Horizon Energy Group takes pride in its commitment to the health and safety of all its stakeholders. It has well developed processes and procedures in the principal areas of safety leadership, risk management and worker participation as a premise.
To support this, you will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, sound industry and product knowledge, be safety focused at all times, possess a high degree of initiative, able to think clearly under pressure and most of all be a team player.
