Responsibilities of the role include:
Manage the day to day operations for the Lines Team ensuring projects are undertaken in a timely, safely and cost effective manner.
Ensure forward works are planned, scheduled, costed and resourced in order to optimise the performance of the team.
Build strong long term relationships with our customers ensuring they see Horizon Services as a preferred supplier with excellent customer service and technical support.
To be successful, a candidate is preferred to have the following qualifications, experience and skills:
Current NZ EWRB Practising Licence
NZ Line Mechanic Qualification
Live line experience would be an advantage but not essential
Must have a minimum of 5 years post qualification experience in directly relevant activities
Familiar with distribution systems and associated procedures up to and including 33kV
Knowledge of tree compliance regulations and vegetation management procedures desirable
Knowledge of all relevant industry rules and regulations including the Health & Safety at Work Act 2015, SMEI's and business SWPs, SOP's
