As part of the team at The Helier, you'll pride yourself in providing exceptional care and gold-star standard service. Our residents are at the center of everything we do at The Helier, and we're looking for a Lifestyle Coordinator to implement our resident wellbeing and event experience.
In this role, you'll use resources and the 5 Ways to Wellbeing principles to design and implement a consistent resident programme.
You'll get to know our residents and adapt programmes to respect and include residents' tastes, spiritual needs, customers, and cultural preferences.

It is necessary you have : 2-3 years of proven experience in event planning and management, and the hospitality environment. Creativity to design and implement successful resident events and experiences. Enthusiasm for entertaining and a genuine passion for understanding our residents' needs, ensuring their experiences are at the forefront of decision making. Excellent attention to detail, patient, organised, and punctual. Self-motivation, initiative, and a high level of professional integrity. Full NZ Drivers License and comfortability with driving a large van. You will be responsible for : Assisting residents during their transition to The Helier Care Residences, ensuring a safe, supported and considered experience. Provide event and resident experience services based on the principles of the 5 ways to wellbeing, incorporating program choices, one-on-one sessions, and creative utilization of residents' prior experiences. Develop and publish a monthly calendar of events aligned with the 5 ways to wellbeing framework, embracing concepts such as giving, being active, continuous learning, connecting, and being mindful. Assist residents in using the Together App for program access and bookings. Collaborate with the food and beverage team to enhance themed events and provide lifestyle-appropriate culinary experiences. Actively participate in resident orientation, welcoming and assisting residents in settling into an unfamiliar environment. Anticipate residents' needs, understand their preferences, and communicate respectfully. Safety leadership, considering the health and safety of procedures and activities. Have an ongoing commitment to personal and professional development growth. Job details : Working 20 hours per week. You have an option of working 8 hours on Saturday and Sunday - additional 4 hours on either Friday or Monday or working 10 hours on Saturday and Sunday.
