Our friendly Aquatic Services team have permanent part-time Lifeguard positions available.
The hours available are Wednesday 4pm-8pm, Saturday 7:30am-2:30pm and Sunday 2pm-6pm.
Key responsibilities for this role include: Provide constant supervision of pools, including rotating as directed by the Supervisor, to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all customers and staff.
Participate in the delivery of safe and effective aquatic operations, including the daily programme, as directed by the Supervisor.
Clean or tidy areas where required to ensure pools, pool surrounds, seating, dressing rooms, toilets, showers, staff room and store rooms are clean and tidy to a satisfactory level.
Respond to all accidents and incidents safely and effectively, and reporting these promptly.
Undertake tasks delegated by the Supervisor in a timely and efficient manner, to a high standard.
What you will bring: National Lifeguard Award or be willing to obtain
First Aid Certificate or be willing to obtain
Competent and confident swimmer and, on an ongoing basis, able to maintain the National Lifeguard Award
Demonstrate a "can do" attitude, and have the ability to multitask
Be able to pass an initial water based skills test
