Work closely with your local community Join our talented and friendly team Permanent part-time opportunity An opportunity has arisen to work as a Libraries & Council Service Assistant in the Maungakiekie-Tamaki Local Board cluster. This is a permanent part-time 18-hr per week position based at Panmure Library, working on Saturday, Sunday, and either Monday or Friday. You will need to be flexible about where you work as you may be working across the Maungakiekie-Tamaki Local Board libraries. He angitutanga: The opportunity In this customer-focused role, you will be contributing to the day-to-day running of the library and front-line library service. You will have the opportunity to work closely with colleagues and customers to enable a great experience. We want to be known for our outstanding customer service. You will be working closely with our local community through a range of programmes, from children's activities to supporting and/or delivering exciting learning programmes and activities that are driven by community need. Our library whanau is focused on caring for each other, our community, and our environment. We love collaborating with community partners and we welcome people from all walks of life. We are looking for someone who will assist with whatever needs doing with a smile on their face and in their heart.
