Our client is a not-for-profit financial entity that provides ethical and meaningful investment opportunities to churches and charities throughout NZ.
They are looking to appoint a Lending Manager to oversee and manage the loan application process from enquiry to settlement.
The Role: Ensure credit is managed in compliance with the Credit Risk Policy.
Manage the lending process within the CRM.
Develop new and improved processes to enhance the customer experience.
Review credit assessments and maintain a high level of accuracy.
Conduct and process credit assessments for larger clients with more complicated transactions.
Maintain a strong relationship focus with lending clients.
Cultivate new business opportunities with potential clients.
Maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders including senior management and members of the lending committee.
Ensure compliance with all AML/CFT regulations and monitor ongoing compliance.
Provide detailed reports on loan applications and portfolio performance to the management team.
The Person: Will be part of the leadership team and provide guidance and support to the lending team.
Must have a strong commitment to Christian principles and forge strong relationships within the Christian network.
Solid background in lending within the banking and finance sector.
Strong understanding of credit analysis or a background in accounting or financial management.
Have a strong work ethic and attitude.
Be a big-picture thinker.
