Legal Secretary Position at Tiaki Family Law: 20 – 30 hours per week We are looking for an organized and proactive Legal Secretary to join our team at Tiaki Family Law. We are a firm that values access to justice, professional growth, and a modern, collaborative working environment.
What We Offer: Collaborative Team Environment: You'll work closely with our family law team, assisting on files that cover a range of legal matters including Care of Children disputes, Family Violence cases, and more. You'll work with tablets, laptops, and smartphones, making work efficient whether you're in the office or on the go.Flexible working environment: This role is for 20 to 30 hours per week and would be suitable for a primary caregiver with school age children. We are flexible in terms of what days and hours suit you best, and are comfortable with the right candidate having the opportunity work from home several days per week once you have established yourself in the role. About You: Strong computer literacy, especially in Microsoft Office, practice management software, and document formatting.Excellent written and oral communication skills.Ability to take initiative and independently identify and manage administrative tasks for the solicitors to ensure their workflow and focus remains on the provision of legal advice. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and triage work in a fast-paced environment.Experience in a law firm, ideally with family law, is an advantage.Why Join Us?
