Legal Assistant - Family Law

This role involves working one-on-one with a senior lawyer specialising in Family Law, including relationship property, care of children, and protection orders.
You'll also gain valuable experience in wider legal processes and administration.Key responsibilities include:Managing client files (both physical and digital) and ensuring AML compliance.Drafting and preparing legal documents, correspondence, and monthly billing.Assisting with Legal Aid applications and Ministry of Justice invoicing.Scheduling appointments, managing the lawyer's diary, and liaising with clients.Providing comprehensive secretarial and administrative support.Our dream candidate will have:Experience in legal or professional administration, ideally within Family Law.Strong skills in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook, with excellent attention to detail.Familiarity with Legal Aid processes (or a willingness to quickly learn).Great organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.A team-focused attitude and clear, professional communication.Why Work With Us?You'll enjoy a close working relationship with a supportive senior lawyer who values collaboration.
