We are seeking an experienced educator to join our team as a lecturer or senior lecturer for our Bachelor of Education (Primary) or Graduate Diploma of Teaching (Primary) programmes. This is a full-time role based in either our Wellington or Hastings location. You will play a key role in shaping the next generation of primary school teachers, delivering high-quality instruction and supporting students throughout their studies.Key ResponsibilitiesPreparing and delivering course materialAssessing student work and providing comprehensive feedback to support their learning and developmentSupervising student teacher placements and providing mentorship and guidanceContributing to the broader research and scholarly activities of Te Rito Maioha.What We're Looking For:A postgraduate degree in education or a related field, with a strong background in primary educationFull teacher certification and practising certificateRecent in-school primary curriculum experience, with a deep understanding of the teaching and learning processExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire students in an online learning environmentStrong research and publication skills, preferably with a record of academic publications or presentationsKnowledge in te reo Maori me nga Maori is desirable, but support is given to develop in this area.We are committed to providing a supportive and enriching work environment for our employees.
