Our focus is on ensuring that our akonga undertaking the Bachelor of Nursing programme are fully equipped and work-ready to meet the demands of the ever-changing healthcare environment. UCOL School of Nursing delivers quality programmes to our akonga in an environment where we care about the individual.
We are seeking an exceptional registered nurse to join our highly motivated and supportive team in providing nursing education to the future nursing workforce of Aotearoa New Zealand. As a Lecturer, Nurse Education, you will provide evidence-based teaching for the Bachelor of Nursing programme. You will be an active contributor to the development and delivery of the programme. You will teach akonga in the classroom and simulation lab, through the online learning environment, and within clinical settings. In addition to this, you will be supported to actively engage in professional development and research opportunities.
This is a full-time position, part-time options negotiable. Salary subject to qualifications and experience.
Minimum Requirements: You have at least three years Registered Nurse registration with the Nursing Council of New Zealand.
You have a passion for sharing your clinical knowledge and expertise.
You are culturally competent and are committed to working in a manner which upholds the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi.

You are comfortable working with students in both the classroom and clinical settings.
