Mo tenei turanga - About the role: As the Learning Delivery Lead, you will support a significant change programme focused on ensuring Fire and Emergency's training systems, practices and governance are effective and fit for purpose.
You will lead the work associated with developing our future learning delivery model for all our core programmes including the development of a long-term delivery strategy.
This is a fixed term position until 31 October 2025.
Wellington is our preferred location, however we may consider Rotorua for a preferred candidate.
Ko tau na i tenei turanga - What you'll bring to the role: Hit the ground running in this project-based position using your significant background in Adult Education and relationship building skills to partner with the core Learning and Development directorate to deliver new training solutions.
A strong influencing ability will help navigate differing viewpoints to find a common ground resulting in a positive shared outcome.
You will be comfortable working to tight deadlines while ensuring all work streams, programmes and other initiatives are delivered with high quality outcomes.
To be successful in this role, we'd expect you will have: Proven senior-level experience in Adult Education In depth understanding of modern training methods, including online learning Demonstrated ability to influence transformational change Positive relationship building and communication skills Experience in fire and emergency or similar organisations.
The salary range for this role is $134,190 - $149,100 (pro rata), dependent on skills and experience relevant to the role.
