Learn to Swim Lead | Stanmore Bay Pool and Leisure Help us get "More Aucklanders more active, more often" Great development pathway and multiple opportunities within Auckland Council Fixed-term opportunity He angitutanga: The opportunity As the Lead Learn to Swim, you'll be playing a key part in ensuring a great customer experience for our customers when participating in our Learn to Swim programme and ensuring the development and delivery of programmes and services are maintained at an exceptional standard. In this position, you'll be conducting pool deck supervision, assisting with the inducting, training, and development of team members, and assisting the Team Leader Learn to Swim with rostering and lesson delivery. You'll also support the day-to-day operational running of the Learn to Swim programme and provide great customer service and problem resolution for our customers. This is a Fixed-term until 30th of June 2025, 30-hour position, working Tuesday – Saturday: Tuesday - Friday: 12.15pm- 6.45pm Saturday: 8am-2.30pm He korero mou: About you You'll have a passion for motivating both your team members and our customers to enjoy and gain confidence in swimming. You'll be committed to making the experience of working in and visiting our pools a great one for everyone involved. Previous experience in team supervision or leadership is also highly desirable. You should also hold a recognised swim teacher qualification (AUSTSWIM), a First Aid certificate, and experience in delivering lessons across a range of ages and abilities. If you do not have a current AUSTSWIM or first aid certificate, you must be available for the training.
