Role Description:
We are seeking an experienced Leading Hand Scaffolder to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating scaffold projects, ensuring they are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise a scaffold crew on various projects.
Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
Coordinate the setup and dismantling of scaffolding structures.
Inspect and maintain scaffolding equipment.
Provide on-the-job training and support to team members.
Liaise with clients and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
Requirements:
Current New Zealand Certificate of Competency (COC) in Scaffolding.
Class 2 driver's license is a bonus, but not essential.
Minimum of three years' experience leading a scaffold crew in New Zealand.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Excellent knowledge of health and safety practices in the scaffolding industry.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
