There are currently three classes in Mokai Awhina: Y0–2, Y3–5, Y6–8. The leader of learning will teach a class within the team, with class level negotiable. This is an exciting opportunity to work with highly committed and collegial teachers as well as a fabulous community of students and whanau.Students in Mokai Awhina are fully immersed in te reo Maori. Our goal is that by the end of Y8, students will be bilingual and biliterate in both Maori and English. Fluency in te reo Maori is essential for this position.Whether you are an aspiring leader or an experienced leader, we are looking for a motivated educator to collaborate and learn alongside us.
