We are also part of a newly formed Hydrogen Consortium, which includes Airbus and Air New Zealand, to pioneer the commercial deployment of green hydrogen-powered aircraft.We are in high-growth mode and are looking for people who want to help us drive our vision to create clever solutions for a better future.ABOUT THE ROLEThe Lead Mechanical Engineer at Fabrum will play a key role in our development of best practice systems and processes, helping to lead the team and drive innovation. You will have the opportunity to:Develop cutting-edge solutions for world-leading projects, including hydrogen refueling stations and liquefiers.Help develop best practice systems and processes, and drive a continuous improvement culture.Provide technical expertise, guidance, and troubleshooting support to resolve complex engineering problems.Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations throughout the design and manufacturing processes.Mentor and guide other engineers, fostering their professional growth and contributing to a collaborative team environment.ABOUT YOUBachelor of Mechanical Engineering degree (or higher studies).7+ years of relevant experience.Proficiency in CAD software, preferably SolidWorks.Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.Ability to collaborate across teams and regions, and proactively interact with Project Managers, discipline engineers, and designers to deliver successful outcomes.EXPOSURE A BENEFITProcess engineering experience (oil & gas or similar).Experience coordinating multidisciplinary engineering teams.Working knowledge of international design standards ASME B31.3, ASME B31.12, AS1210 and associated AS/NZS and international reference standards.
