You will have great communication skills and a friendly, easy-going personality.
You will be involved in a wide variety of work including commercial, retail, government, hospitality, education, aged care, high-end residential, industrial projects, etc., from project conception through to completion. Your key responsibilities will consist of being the local fire team leader, engineering design, networking and marketing, establishing and maintaining relationships, meeting with clients and onsite observation.
Salaries are very competitive. We pay by the hour with a minimum 37.5 hour full time work week. This means overtime gets paid. The base 37.5 hour salary is at least at the upper quartile of ACENZ total package salaries of 2020 and on top of this you have overtime and bonus(es) plus surgical insurance covered and a huge TMCo paid social calendar. Job description

We are looking for a motivated, experienced senior fire engineer to join our dynamic office – to create and lead the local fire engineering team. If preferable for the southern region, we can facilitate a new office in Dunedin or Invercargill instead as we have a large number of major projects in these locations.



Candidate profile


CMEngNZ (Fire)
Significant NZ experience
Well developed communication and interpersonal skills
Strong relational skills
Experience monitoring construction and contractor supervision
