Lead Carpenter

As a Lead Carpenter at Stud Construction, you will play a crucial role in shaping the construction of high-quality residential projects in the Palmerston North Central Manawatu area. This full-time position requires a skilled professional who can oversee and coordinate carpentry to deliver quality results for our clients.

What you'll be doing Provide leadership and direction to a team of carpenters.
Interpret plans to guide the construction process.
Coordinate the installation of structural components, such as framing, bracing, and cladding.
Ensure all work meets industry standards and building regulations.
Collaborate with other trades to ensure seamless project delivery.
Manage inventory, tools, and equipment to maintain efficiency on the job site.
What we're looking for Strong understanding of construction techniques, building codes, and safety protocols.
Proficient in reading plans.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Ability to lead, motivate, and coordinate a team of carpenters.
Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
Effective communication skills to liaise with clients and subcontractors.
