As a Lead Carpenter at Stud Construction, you will play a crucial role in shaping the construction of high-quality residential projects in the Palmerston North Central Manawatu area. This full-time position requires a skilled professional who can oversee and coordinate carpentry to deliver quality results for our clients.

What you'll be doing Provide leadership and direction to a team of carpentersInterpret plans to guide the construction processCoordinate the installation of structural components, such as framing, bracing and cladding.Ensure all work meets industry standards and building regulationsCollaborate with other trades to ensure seamless project deliveryManage inventory, tools, and equipment to maintain efficiency on the job site.What we're looking for Strong understanding of construction techniques, building codes, and safety protocolsProficient in reading plans.Excellent problem-solving skillsAbility to lead, motivate, and coordinate a team of carpenters.Strong attention to detail and quality workmanshipEffective communication skills to liaise with clients, subcontractors.What we offer
