This position reports to Regional Controller with dotted line to Local Division Manager Your role and responsibilities In this role, you will have the opportunity to be a business partner to the relevant business manager and function leaders to optimize the financial performance within an assigned division/business area. Each day, you will support effective business decisions by monitoring, analyzing, and interpreting financial data to evaluate various business alternatives. You will also showcase your expertise by recommending the most appropriate business solutions. The work model for the role is Onsite #LI-Onsite. This role is contributing to the Electrification Distribution Solutions Business in Henderson, Auckland. Your main accountabilities are: Contribute to the definition of strategy for the business unit as well as translate strategy into business plans and establish measurable targets. Oversee the business planning and forecasting process for the area of responsibility and serve as the interface to Global Business Line CFO/Regional Controller/Local Management. Evaluate financial implications of various strategic decisions, build scenarios and recommend actions. Drive appropriate cost structure, productivity optimization, and capital efficiency. Manage and closely monitor cash flow and take action to improve Net Working Capital. Assess business risk exposure and define risk mitigation strategies to reduce impact on business performance. Execute risk review procedures and processes in line with global policies and standards to minimize commercial and financial risks and exposure. Ensure compliance with corporate and country standards, regulations, and guidelines. Define and implement internal controls regarding financial and non-financial operations. Support internal and external audits. Qualifications for the role You are highly skilled in working with SAP FI & CO modules and the industrial market. You have 10+ years of experience in financial controlling, business controlling, and/or management accounting. Possess an enhanced knowledge of financial reporting/financial analyses and creating proper dashboards for management. You are passionate about working in teams, leading organizational success, and have the required discipline to apply organizational policies and procedures. Professional Degree in Accounting and Finance. You are at ease communicating in English.
