Working within the Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) as a key member of the EPMO Leadership Team, this role will see you establishing a centre of excellence for business case development in FENZ. You will lead and work closely with a team of two analysis and business case writing professionals developing pragmatic easy to use business case resources and guidance materials, and develop and deliver high quality, evidence based and context specific business cases for significant investments. Your advice will support informed decision making across the organisation.
Reporting to the National Manager EPMO, you will build and maintain relationships across the organisation ensuring our Business Case Framework, processes and documentation is aligned with the organisation's strategic objectives, effectively communicates costs, benefits and risks of investment, and is appropriately scaled for the level of investment.

You will be a confident technical leader, with extensive business analysis and business case writing experience preferably within the public sector, with proven people management experience. You will have in-depth working knowledge of machinery of government including Treasury and Cabinet business case best practice, and experience working with large and small scale asset and capability investments. You will have demonstrable experience in providing high quality advice in a range of situations and be comfortable engaging with a wide range of stakeholders including at an executive level.
To be successful in this role, we'd expect you will: Proven experience in writing high-impact business cases in a complex public sector environment for various cost and complexity.Experience in articulating costs and benefits in an operational context.Demonstrated ability to lead teams and capabilities in technical domains.Strong background in business & financial analysis, project planning, project risk and procurement methodologies.Experience working collaboratively with diverse and multi-discipline teams and managing multiple stakeholders.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex concepts in an audience focused and succinct manner.In-depth experience working with and presenting large and complex data sets in a consumable and audience aware way.Have the ability to build a cost effective and pragmatic business case practice including supporting frameworks, processes, and competencies from the ground up. The salary range for this role is $151,774-$168,638 dependent on skills and experience relevant to the role.
