As a Lead Business Analyst, the successful applicant will be responsible for working across multiple high-profile initiatives within the wider transformation pipeline to provide leadership to team members by defining, prioritising, delegating, managing and supporting the business analysis outcomes across each stage of the project lifecycle. The role will ensure all stakeholder requirements are accurately reflected and then designed into new or enhanced services, processes, or practices, and be a champion of user requirements throughout design, development, and implementation. They will also be expected to be able to lead analysis work in large and complex programmes, and lead, coach, guide, and mentor other Business Analysts within their team.
Working closely with the project leadership teams, as our Lead Business Analyst, you will be responsible for leadership of the project business analysis team members, by:
Establishing clear processes, tools, methods, and frameworks to support BA deliverables. Defining, prioritising, and managing the pipeline of business analysis packages of work, synthesising information, documenting, and managing processes and supporting change transitions functions across projects. Driving high performance, by increasing the teams' capabilities and supporting their development through effective coaching. Setting clear outcomes and conducting quality assurance activity across the analysis outputs ensuring consistency and quality of deliverables. Establishment and leadership of the ceremonies required to support the BA deliverables on Project Fusion and People Central to ensure the work is visible. Providing effective cost management in the use of business analyst resources and provide oversight of Business Analysis activities across projects to ensure successful delivery. Working closely with the business to ensure roles, responsibilities and deliverables are clearly understood, expectations are managed, and collaborative working relationships are established. Using proven methodologies, actively identifying, and participating in opportunities to improve the overall quality, timeliness, and effectiveness of activity to ensure best practises are maintained. The role serves as a bridge between the project teams and the business to ensure the programme is positioned to ensure our business embraces, adopts, and uses the change in the right way to maximise business value. Demonstrable experience in a Business Analysis leadership role across multiple projects Ability to engage effectively with both internal and external stakeholders and identify improvements/solutions. Requirements gathering and analysis, system/process analysis etc. Highly organised with the ability to effectively prioritise and manage expectations. Excellent communication and listening skills; documentation, planning, organisational, and time management skills. A self-starter, focused on enabling the project team. Exposure to relevant project management skills. You promote innovation, and lead through a continuous improvement lens. Your technical competence in business analysis is recognised, with core capabilities in problem-solving and critical thinking; and the ability to identify and remove barriers, enabling teams to fulfil goals and deliver results.
As a maturing Business Analysis Practice, you will feel comfortable bringing all your experience to the table to help build a strong Business Analysis competency for Beca, including mentoring more junior members of the team.
