About the role
Our Environment, Planning and Natural Resources team help clients navigate challenges by helping them to understand the legal, regulatory and political frameworks around urban planning, infrastructure development and environmental issues like freshwater quality, climate change, RMA reform, energy and renewables and coastal developments.
Our multi-disciplinary team, led by market leaders Allison Arthur-Young, Daniel Minhinnick and Simon Pilkinton, has the ability and the depth to take on big projects and complex legal questions. We're known for the way we collaboratively partner with our clients, our industry knowledge, commercial nous and our understanding of our client's broader strategic objectives. You will get exposure to some of the most interesting work in New Zealand and will learn from the best in a high-achieving team and firm that is committed to developing your career and fostering a positive work environment.
About you
This is a growing practice area for the firm, so we are looking for lawyers across a wide range of experience levels. Experience in Environment, Planning and Natural Resources law;
A strong academic record;
Strong technical and commercial abilities;
