Natural Habitats is a highly acclaimed provider of landscaping services in New Zealand. Our expertise is trusted for creating and preserving some of the country's most iconic civil, commercial, and residential landscapes.
Our team comprises over 180 skilled employees, and our operations span from Kerikeri in the north to Queenstown in the south of New Zealand.

The Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Residential / Commercial Landscapers to create the beautiful backyards we're known for in the Canterbury area.
As a Landscaper you are key to our success – working as part of a team and reporting to a Team Leader, you'll do everything from site set-out to planting, timber work to paving, concrete, lawn care and much more. The responsibilities are dependent on the project work that we have available, which means no two days are the same!
If you enjoy spending your days outdoors and getting involved in practical work, this is the job for you!

About You:
You will have a passion for landscaping, have a strong work ethic, be a team player, be willing to learn and ideally already have some hardscaping experience.
You will also have considerable experience in gardening and handling tools (ideally including heavy machinery) and get immense satisfaction from the feeling of completing a project and pleasing clients. You will take pleasure in sharing your knowledge with others and are adept at communicating and collaborating with your team, clients and contractors.

Requirements:
2+ years experience in Landscaping, Construction or similar
A good level of fitness and communication skills
The ability to work in a team environment
Willingness to learn and grow
Basic knowledge of plants and their requirements to thrive
Drivers license
Advantageous but not essential:
Leadership skills and the ability to coach others
Hardscaping experience
Carpentry and concreting experience
First Aid certification
Ability to drive Manual
