Landscape Team Leader

Our landscape contracting business has been thriving for 38 years, delivering high-quality landscaping services for roading and infrastructure projects across Waikato, Auckland, and Bay of Plenty. Our core services include planting, mulch spreading, and maintenance, along with a variety of other offerings.
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Team Leader to manage a small team of laborers and subcontractors on-site. The Team Leader will serve as the liaison with the main contractor for all onsite activities. This role is based in Hamilton but will require travel to Auckland and Bay of Plenty as needed.
The role will involve both Team Leader responsibilities and hands-on labor, so candidates must be physically fit. We are looking for someone who can manage vehicle and machinery maintenance, skilled at motivating their team, and committed to health and safety. Excellent communication skills are essential, and candidates should be fluent in English.
A machinery license is preferred but not required.
