Our team thrives on collaboration, professionalism, and technical excellence, and we're now seeking a Licensed Cadastral Surveyor to join our busy and growing Tauranga team.The Role:As a Licensed Cadastral Surveyor, you'll play a key role in the production & delivery of high-quality surveying services for a broad range of projects, from residential subdivisions to commercial developments. You'll work closely with our clients, project managers, and design teams to ensure accurate land boundary determinations and efficient project delivery.Responsibilities:Conduct cadastral surveys and prepare accurate land boundary plans in compliance with relevant regulations and standards.Collaborate with engineers, planners, and architects to ensure seamless project execution.Manage surveying projects from initiation to completion, maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy.Prepare and lodge survey plans with local councils and Land Information New Zealand (LINZ).Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior surveyors and technicians.Keep up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and technological advancements in cadastral surveying.Qualifications:Qualified Surveyor (Bachelor Degree), and progressing to a Licensed Cadastral Surveyor certification.A minimum of 3-5 years of cadastral surveying experience in land development.Strong understanding of New Zealand's land tenure system, surveying legislation, and LINZ requirements.Proficient in survey software such as 12d Model, Civil 3D, or similar.Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively with clients, local authorities, and other stakeholders.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Benefits:Base Salary + performance-based incentives & company benefits.Flexible working arrangements, including a mix of office and fieldwork.Support for continued professional development and training.Collaborative and inclusive team, with regular social events & employee incentives.How to Apply:To enquire about the role and learn more about this position, please contact Stephen Graves at Archway Recruitment.
