As a Land Development Engineer, you will work closely with our infrastructure and planning teams to provide sustainable development solutions. We are looking for a driven, enthusiastic team player who is passionate about supporting sustainable development in Central Otago.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support land development, including engineering assessments, design reviews, and site inspections.
Provide expertise in land development processes and construction, ensuring development related infrastructure meets Council requirements and applicable engineering standards.
Assist in resource management planning processes including preparing resource consent conditions.
Deliver excellent customer service and communicate effectively.
Take ownership of challenges and find solutions with minimal supervision.
What You'll Need to Succeed :
A tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering, Natural Resource Engineering, or a related field.
Experience in construction design or supervision.
Strong customer service focus and interpersonal skills.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Well organised and consistent in setting, prioritising, and meeting deadlines.
Experience in subdivision engineering an advantage.
This is a full-time permanent position with a competitive salary dependent on skills, experience, and performance.
