Permanent Position Grow your career in employment relationsBe part of a recognized high performing team within the Labour InspectorateThe Labour Standards Officer is the ideal role to start your career dealing with employment relations issues.
In this role, you will gain extensive knowledge on minimum employment standards legislation which you will apply daily towards effectively resolving issues raised by employees related to minimum employment standards.
You will be provided with regular guidance and continuous professional development, including the opportunity to study for nationally recognised regulatory qualifications.
You will be expected to work autonomously, manage a caseload effectively and within a timely manner, have a proactive approach to your work, be a nimble learner, keep up-to-date with changes in legislation, and adhere to deadlines.
You will also contribute to a high-performing team and actively take part in team quality and review processes.
