Lab And Pollen Stock Manager

Laboratory & Technical Services (Science & Technology) Kiwi Pollen is a specialist pollination agritech based in Te Puke.
We are looking for an experienced team player to oversee our pollen packing and flower reception.
The role will include both customer-facing tasks and laboratory work ensuring customers experience friendly and efficient service along with high-quality products.
Responsibilities Organising and managing constantly evolving product inventory.
Managing flower reception weigh station.
Performing standardised laboratory testing.
Packaging & labelling of pollen and other Kiwi Pollen products.
Liaising with customers about our range of pollination products.
Key liaison between the mill and office.
Updating and maintaining SOPs.
Potentially processing male flowers to extract the pollen.
Outcome of the Role Accurate & timely maintenance of pollen inventory system.
Partnering alongside team members to improve overall business processes.
Maintain the positioning and reputation of the business by focusing on customer service.
Customers and business partners are always delighted to hear from us and are actively seeking to be in communication with us.
All flowers brought to the mill are accurately & timely processed.
Skills Previous experience in the kiwifruit industry is preferred.
Science background is desirable.
Proven ability with time management and organisation.
Excellent communication and diplomacy skills with diverse team members.
Competent with MS Office Suite.
Logistics intelligence and problem-solving ability.
Sense of humour, happy and outgoing.
Timings Late October – Mid December – Maximum of 6 days per week.
Late October - 9am-5pm.
