Machine Operator

An exciting opportunity to work in manufacturing. 
Permanent full time positions available, with minimum of 30 hours 
Monday - Friday, with weekend work potentially available 
Task:
1.     Studying drawings, plans, specifications and detail sheets to determine job requirements
2.     Complete pre-start checks.
3.     Determine required material and methodology to achieve the desired product outcome as per specifications.
4.     Setting up machines, stops and controls. Calibrate machine and undertake testing to produce product as specified 
5.     Operate machines to manufacture metal products to specified standards.
6.     Undertake quality check by using relevant instruments and guides to ensure accuracy of fabricated metal products
7.     Ensure machine maintenance by undertaking checks and diagnosing faults.
8.     Assist with repairing mechanical parts and equipment. 
9.     Quality control.
10.  Driving the Forklift, operate the gantry crane and coordinate deliveries.
About you
3 years relevant work experience Can do attitude  Strong adherece to health and safety protocols  Able to pass pre-employment drug and alsohol tests
