Kiwifruit Flower Picker - Piece Rate Work!

We have a seasonal role for you in the Bay of Plenty from the beginning of November for the pollen season.
About the Role This role is an exciting opportunity for a seasonal worker picking flowers from kiwifruit orchards.
Our highest performers last season were earning $55 an hour!
Responsibilities Availability to work for the full month of November.
Self-motivated person – This role is piece rate, meaning the more flowers that you pick the more you earn so you can control how much you are paid.
You will always be paid at least minimum wage with our average earners banking around $35/hr.
Pay rate will vary according to conditions.
Over 160cm tall (in order to reach the vines which are 170cm – 180cm from the ground).
Enjoy working outdoors and being physical.
Valid work permit/visa (we cannot accept SSE visas).
NZ Bank Account and IRD Number.
No previous experience required.
Working Conditions This casual contract is great for people on working holiday visas, locals, and anyone who enjoys piece rate work.
The role will require you to travel to different orchards around the Tauranga, Te Puke, and Katikati area.
In fine conditions, we work 7:30am-5pm up to 6 days a week.
In rain conditions, working hours may be adjusted or postponed.
There may be an opportunity to stay on for thinning and pruning work at an hourly rate from December – February.
About Kiwi Pollen Kiwi Pollen is a family-run business that has been operating since 1989.
Over our busy season, employees will pick male Kiwifruit flowers and mill the pollen to be applied on fruiting orchards for optimal pollination.
We are experts in the pollen world and know that our staff are a valued investment in our organisation.
