Kiwifruit Collections Training and H&S CoordinatorFull timePinpoint is an independent testing laboratory established in 2020 by EastPack, New Zealand's leading grower-owned Kiwifruit Post-Harvest company, to provide sampling and maturity clearance testing to customers across the Bay of Plenty region.We have an exciting opportunity to join our Pinpoint team. We are looking for a confident, driven, and highly organised individual, who can contribute to the ongoing success of the Pinpoint business, initially on a full-time eight-month fixed term basis to cover parental leave.Reporting to the Collections Manager, you will be key to leading and providing training support to our seasonal field teams. Duties will include, but not be limited to:Onboarding and managing all seasonal collections staffFull monitoring and auditing of seasonal field staff efficiency and throughputDeveloping and implementing the Pinpoint collections training program to ensure all staff understand processes, and the importance of best practiceCoordinating EastPack's Pest Monitoring and Regional Monitoring programsUndertaking the role of H&S champion for PinpointThis is a busy and varied role, which will require you to be able to work well within a team, so excellent interpersonal skills, time management, and organisation skills are crucial.To be successful you will also need:Experience in leading and organising teamsUnderstanding of laboratory and fruit sampling processesHigh attention to detail and data accuracy skillsExcellent time management skills and ability to prioritise and adaptStrong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, in particular ExcelAbility to remain calm under pressureAn understanding of the importance of a strong health and safety culture and leading by exampleExcellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skillsFlexibility to work extended hours including weekends during peak season, if requiredAbility to work independently, follow instructions and operate efficientlyFull clean NZ driver's licenseAs Pinpoint is part of the EastPack group of companies, we are able to offer excellent career opportunities for talented and motivated people.
