Place of Work: beans n bites at Whangaparaoa, Auckland Work hours: 30 hours weekly on roaster Monday to Saturday, between 6:30 am and 5:00 pm, Sunday, between 7:00 am and 5:00 pm.
The Employer will roster actual hours to be worked from time to time.
Wage: $ 29.66 to $ 30.00/hour Job Description: We are seeking a friendly and efficient Kitchenhand to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for: Primary Responsibilities: Prepare vegetables, basic food items, and dishes, including sandwiches, dumplings, and Chinese-style noodles.
Assist in preparing traditional Chinese snacks like dumplings and buns.
Clean food preparation equipment, utensils, and work areas.
Wash dishes, glassware, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment by hand or using dishwashers.
Dispose of rubbish and maintain cleanliness throughout the kitchen.
Ensure compliance with hygiene and safety regulations in food preparation areas.
Additional Responsibilities: Prepare coffee and other beverages during busy hours.
Assist in the kitchen when the coffee service is not busy.
Take customer orders, serve food and drinks, and handle payments at the front counter.
Support the team in maintaining the cafÃ's overall organization and cleanliness.
Requirements : Minimum of one year's experience working in a cafà or restaurant.
Knowledge or experience in preparing dumplings and Chinese-style noodles.
Ability to consistently prepare coffee and familiarity with beverage preparation.
Proficiency in making cakes and sandwiches Capability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Strong commitment to following safety and hygiene procedures.
