Fonterra Oceania is our newly formed entity that merges the Fonterra Brands New Zealand (FBNZ) and Fonterra Australia operations, aimed at enhancing our competitive position in the trans-Tasman dairy market. About the opportunity | Te whiwhinga mahiWe have an exciting opportunity for a Key Account Manager to join our highly collaborative and successful Foodservice Distributor Sales Team.
As a Key Account Manager, you will focus on managing the end-to-end key account function within the Out of Home Channel while supporting, executing and developing strategies for growth in conjunction with the National Distributor Manager & Foodservice Business Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity to shine with your customer relationship and account management expertise as you navigate this fast-paced role requiring an energetic, creative individual with strong EQ and a collaborative approach to account management.
Reporting to the National Distributor Manager, your key responsibilities will include:Strategic account planning.Managing pricing and promotional functions.Leading the assumptions for forecasting processes.Developing and delivering ongoing field team initiatives against business priorities.Communication and support to field team resources.Implementation of NPD and project-based activity.Managing trade spend accrual and payment processes through accurate usage of tools.Maintaining Supply Agreements.This is a highly visible role that will give you lots of exposure, opportunity to develop your career and really leave a mark within Oceania NZ. You will also be part of a supportive and passionate Sales & Account Management Community within Fonterra and the wider Oceania Business Unit.
About you | Ko wai koeThis is a busy role, with scope for growth and opportunity in an industry that is evolving quickly. You will use a collaborative approach to build strong, productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders. You'll be commercially savvy, detailed in your approach and experienced in working with multiple and varied stakeholders. You will have excellent problem-solving, project management and tech-savvy computer skills, especially in MS Excel.
Ideally coming from a Key Account Management role or similar, you'll have the eagerness to work cross-functionally and help us refine and develop processes to shape the future for our accounts. Your exceptional influencing and negotiation skills, coupled with solid interpersonal skills and customer-centric mindset will help you quickly understand what your customer is trying to achieve and set you up for success.
