About the position The Key Account Manager (KAM) role plays a pivotal role in managing and nurturing ADT's most important customer relationships.
This position requires a deep understanding of both the client's business and the company's offerings to drive mutual growth and success.
The KAM is responsible for ensuring client satisfaction, identifying new business opportunities, and aligning the company's solutions with the client's strategic objectives.
This role involves strategic planning, account management, and the ability to foster long-term relationships built on trust and value delivery.
Key responsibilities: Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key clients.
Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts, ensuring timely and effective communication.
Strategic Account Planning: Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve sales targets and expand the company's presence within key accounts.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within key accounts.
Sales and Revenue Growth: Drive sales growth by understanding client needs and aligning the company's products and services to meet those needs.
Achieve sales targets and contribute to overall company revenue goals.
Look for new Key Accounts to build your portfolio.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., marketing, product development, customer support) to ensure client requirements are met.
Coordinate with technical teams to address client-specific challenges and opportunities.
Market and Industry Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
Provide insights and feedback to the company to help shape product development and marketing strategies.
Performance Reporting: Prepare and deliver regular performance reports to clients and internal stakeholders.
Monitor account performance metrics and implement corrective actions as needed.
Key attributes: Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets within key accounts.
Experience in building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients.
Ability to develop and execute strategic account plans.
Proficiency in analysing sales data, market trends, and client information to make informed decisions.
Effective verbal and written communication with clients and internal teams.
Proven ability to identify and resolve client issues effectively.
Experience in working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Ability to negotiate contracts and agreements beneficial to both parties.
