While many of the challenges and opportunities we face go beyond national boundaries, together we have the scale, influence, and capability to deliver for our customers, communities, and our people.Job DescriptionJoining the Z whanau as our Kaiwhakahaere Pae Papaho Papori Social Media Manager will see you work with a diverse range of topics, from our marketing campaigns to digital products, product launches through to industry changes and our low carbon future.This role is broad and key at Z; responsibility for creating strategy, working with our agency partners, and managing the day-to-day operations of our channels is all yours. Naturally connecting with people and a passion for keeping your knowledge up to date will see you work across the Z business, identifying and delivering awesome social media moments!This role can be based in either Tamaki Makaurau Auckland or Te Whanganui-a-Tara Wellington.You will have the opportunity toDevelop annual social media strategy including benchmarking and regularly measure against benchmarks to report on and improve performanceWork with our agencies to create effective and efficient social media activity that delivers to brand strategyActively review social media activity in conjunction with agencies and propose and manage improvementsBe Z's internal subject matter expert on social media platforms and remain up to date with changesImplement test and learn activities to ensure Z Energy social media is powering better journeys, today and tomorrowProvide guidance and feedback to our customer service agency who provide community managementWhat you'll bring to ZYou would have spent the last 3-5 years working in a social media focused role either inhouse or with an agencyYou will be used to responsibility, working as a sole operator and are comfortable with decision making.A creative eye, you know the content that will work, when to release it and how to draw in an audienceThe drive and passion needed to keep yourself, and Z at the top of the gameFantastic communication skills to be able to balance the needs and priorities of multiple stakeholdersKnowledge of a commercial environment and acumenA bias for action and the ability to execute at pace in an agile environmentAnd of course, you'll be passionate about what matters to Z, embracing and living our values to help us deliver on our aspirations and broader commitment to Aotearoa New Zealand.What we can offer youA competitive remuneration package including short-term incentive plan, medical insurance for you and your family, enhanced employer contribution for KiwiSaverGenerous leave provisions including enhanced sick leave, parental leave benefits and the option to buy additional leaveThe balance of hybrid working, enjoy some of your week at home and some in our welcoming office spaceThe opportunity to contribute and be part of a supportive team that is here to make a differenceA chance to build your own capability through learning from some of the industry's most knowledgeable people who have a desire to share their insights along with access to upskilling opportunities and career development across the organisationTwo days a year to do Good in your Hood, through our volunteering scheme, a chance for you to help others in your community in a meaningful way to youThe base salary range for this role is $96,900 to $114,000 per annum, plus 15% STI based on company performance, a 5% KiwiSaver employer contribution and health insurance through Southern Cross.Why Z?Z has always been a proud Kiwi company.
