The ideal candidate will have a clinical background or be working towards this and be committed to delivering culturally relevant support and education in collaboration with each kura & community.This is a Permanent full-time position, based in Gisborne, with some travel within the region to deliver programs and workshops.To be successful in this role, you will have:Qualifications, Skills and ExperienceFacilitate wananga aimed at enhancing mental wellbeing for children and adolescents.Provide guidance and support based on principles of resilience, behaviour management, emotional regulation and understanding neurodiversity.Collaborate with families, schools, and community organizations to promote mental health awareness.Incorporate Maori traditional healing practices into your work and be open to ongoing learning and training.Demonstrate honesty, reliability and credibility.The ability to identify insights from information, think critically, communicate core elements and explore options.Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to effectively engage, collaborate and partner with a wide range of stakeholders.Full, clean NZ Driver License.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Demonstrate a range of skills, knowledge, and attitudes that contribute positively to the organisation's purpose.Able to establish a good rapport with people.Being flexible, innovative, and open to continuous learning in a changing environment.We are committed to developing and providing opportunities for further professional growth for our kaimahi.
