Korero mo te turanga - About the role: At Mana Ake Tairawhiti we are dedicated to promoting mental wellbeing and supporting the mental health of children and adolescents in our communities. We value diversity, cultural knowledge, and the importance of holistic approaches in mental health care.
We are seeking a Kaiurungi to deliver mental wellbeing wananga focused on building resilience, emotional wellbeing, neurodiversity, anxiety, and depression with Tamariki, kura, whanau & communities from Whangara to Makarika. The ideal candidate will have a clinical background or working towards this and be committed to delivering culturally relevant support and education in collaboration with each kura & community.
This is a Permanent full-time position, based in Gisborne, with some travel within the region to deliver programs and workshops.
