He angitutanga: About the Role:
The Kaitohutohu Tuara Taonga | Trust Advisor is responsible for managing a portfolio of trusts, maintaining a comprehensive understanding of the affairs of each trust within the portfolio, and ensuring high standards of service delivery in the administration of these trusts.
The main responsibilities of this role will include:
Act as the primary Te Tumu Paeroa contact for Trustees and owners within your portfolio, facilitating access for staff and key stakeholders.
Provide advice and guidance concerning trusts associated with your portfolio, supporting your Manager, Team Leader, and colleagues through complex emerging and realised issues.
Ensure delivery of meeting outputs, including invitations, documentation, and follow-up activities, are timely, cohesive, and of a high standard.
Prepare, review, and/or approve Maori Land Court applications, ensuring they are complete and of a high standard.
Collaborating with Property Specialists/Advisors, Rural Specialists, Legal, and other key staff, prepare for and attend Maori Land Court hearings (on behalf of the Maori Trustee).
Ensure delivery of hearing outputs, including invitations, documentation, and follow-up activities, is timely, cohesive, and of a high standard.

At least 3 years of proven experience in customer service and/or administration roles.
A genuine care for customers, with exceptional customer service skills.
A strong team player, who can collaborate and assist to help the team function well.
Skills in building and fostering strong internal and external relationships.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Experience or an understanding of the rural sector is a plus.
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM, SharePoint, and/or M365 is a plus.
Eligibility to work in New Zealand is essential.
