Kaitohutohu/Advisor – Part Time · One day (8 hours) a week with flexibility · Supportive team · Epsom office · Flexible employment options Triple P – Positive Parenting Program is one of the world's most effective parenting programs, designed to give parents the skills they need to raise confident, healthy children and teenagers and to strengthen family relationships. As part of our continued growth, we are seeking a part time, one day a week Kaitohutohu/Advisor to support Triple P NZ with Maori initiatives. The Role Will help to ensure the needs of Maori Tamariki, taiohi and whanau are acknowledged and supported in all initiatives. Duties for the role are: To provide cultural support and guidance across all projects by embedding Te Ao Maori. Support the Triple P leadership team to ensure that current and ongoing work addresses the needs of Maori. Engage with key Maori stakeholders to ensure quality input on projects. Review Maori content of Triple P documents as required. Identify opportunities for participation in activities and projects and kaupapa Maori. Build relationships between Triple P NZ key Maori stakeholders, Iwi and parenting support providers. Work as part of the Triple P Maori advisory group and wider cultural team. The Person To be considered for the role you must possess: Tertiary Education qualifications or graduation from Te Wharekura or relevant learning and experience. Demonstrated relationship and networking skills within Maori networks and cross-culturally. Knowledge and experience of the parenting sector. Knowledge and experience of the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi in relation to mental wellbeing. Training and meeting facilitation skills. Ability to work within project plans and deadlines.
