Te Whiwhinga Mahi | The opportunity
As a Senior HR Advisor, you will be at the forefront of shaping and delivering high-quality People & Capability initiatives, ensuring that we continue to build a positive, inclusive, and high-performing culture. You'll provide expert HR advice and support across a range of areas, including employment relations, performance management, team development, and change management. This is your opportunity to influence and enhance HR practices that make a tangible difference. This is a fixed term until 30 May 2025.
Lead with Expertise: Offer strategic advice on HR policies and best practices across areas like remuneration, employment agreements, employee engagement, and performance management.
Drive Change: Be a key partner in change management initiatives, helping our teams navigate transformation with confidence and success.
Build Partnerships: Develop strong, trust-based relationships with managers and kaimahi, ensuring the HR function supports the business and its people effectively.
Risk & Opportunity Management: Proactively identify and manage HR risks, while seeking continuous improvements to people management processes and tools.
Support People Development: Champion professional growth and development for our teams, fostering a culture of learning and progression.
The appointment range for this role is between $93,317 and $127,170 per annum and the salary will be determined based on the successful candidate's skills and experience.

With proven experience in a senior HR advisory or HR business partner role, a strong understanding of employment relations, change management, and performance management you will bring
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - you'll be building relationships and influencing across all levels of the organisation.
A proactive, solutions-focused mindset, with the ability to navigate complex situations and provide practical, strategic advice.
A passion for people development, and a desire to make a real difference in shaping Te Puni Kokiri's culture and people practices.
