Tumanako Inpatient Unit and He Manu Pae Sub-Acute Unit Right now, we invite you to apply for an exciting full-time opportunity for Kaitakawaenga within our Tumanako Inpatient Unit and He Manu Pae Sub-Acute Unit.

About the roleAt Tumanako Inpatient Unit and He Manu Pae Sub-Acute Unit we provide a full range of alcohol and drug and mental health services including assessment; group, family/whanau and individual interventions; hospital-based therapies to people with co-existing mental health, alcohol and other drug misuse addiction problems/disorders.
About youOur ideal candidate will have experience working in Te Ao Maori and Te Ao Pakeha, working alongside tangata whaiora and their whanau living with the effects of mental illness and addictions.
You will have the ability to communicate and advocate for tangata whaiora and their whanau, collaborate effectively with other members of the team, and engage Maori in making choices that enhance their wellbeing.
A commitment to improving health outcomes for Maori, cultural safety, care quality, and providing cultural recommendations to improve well-being is desired.
The successful applicant will work alongside other kaimahi Maori within a supportive team environment of health professionals that is committed to delivering an excellent clinical and cultural service that reflects the needs of our tangata whaiora and their whanau.
