Kaihapai | Administrator Te Puni Rohe | Regions Te Puni Kokiri | The Ministry of Maori Development We have an exciting career opportunity available in our Waikato- Waiaraki Regional Office, Te Puni Kokiri, Hamilton Te Whiwhinga Mahi | The opportunity The Administrator has the responsibility to provide administrative services to support the effective day to day operations of the office within their region. * Develop and maintain effective working relationships with regional advisors, Tari Matua / National Office and a range of stakeholders * Work collaboratively with other Administrators and support kaimahi in providing a professional, seamless service to the office * Provide a high level of administrative support to the Regional Director and Team Leaders as required * Support the team with security management, emergency procedures and future focused planning. The appointment range for this role is between $49,854 and $60,657 per annum and the salary will be determined based on the successful candidate's skills and experience. Ko wai koe | About you We are looking for an intelligent and innovative Kaihapai | Administrator who has: * Demonstrated administrative support experience, with an ability to set priorities and self-manage work * A high level of proficiency with Microsoft packages especially outlook, word, excel, and power point and sound keyboard skills. Ideally you can type at a minimum of 75 words per minute * Well-developed communication skills, both oral and written and a demonstrated commitment to the provision of quality services * Demonstrated ability to work in and as a member of a team * Are comfortable working in a te ao Maori environment, and comfortable in situations where tikanga is observed.
