We are seeking a professional, caring individual to join our Care Home in the role of Hospital Aide/ Kaiawhina. This is a dual role, supporting the clinical team with resident's cares in the capacity of a Hospital Aide, with a specific focus on Maori kainoho (residents) and Pacifica and families/ whanau.Based in Merivale, Otautahi, this is a part-time position (0.625 FTE), to be normally worked Monday - Friday. The exact hours of work may be negotiated with the successful applicant.To be successful in this role you will have:Working knowledge of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and bicultural / partnership challenges in the healthcare sectorStrong relational skillsThe ability to work collaboratively across a complex organisationExperience as a Hospital Aide, Caregiver or similarA certificate in health and wellbeing (or similar), as well as knowledge of Te Reo Maori is preferred, but not essential.Ki te huanga/Benefits of working at Nurse MaudeAs well as joining a friendly and supportive team in a varied and rewarding role, Nurse Maude offers:Wellbeing - The wellbeing of our staff is very important to us.
