We are looking for a Junior Sous Chef to join our team of passionate people working to deliver meals for a school boarding house in Epsom!
About the role
Provide hands-on support to the Head Chef and deliver exceptional food and great tasting meals to the school boarding house.
Hours of work
This is a permanent role with 40 to 45 hours per week.
Shift times: Friday to Wednesday, 9:30am-6.30pm

Duties
Working with the Head Chef to oversee the daily management and operation of the kitchen.
Menu planning, budgeting, and production planning
Manage ordering of products and supplies.
Review inventory and utilise ingredients to minimise wastage.
About You
2-3 years' experience as a Chef, with relevant qualifications and knowledge of allergens
Knowledge and strict adherence of food safety and dietary regulations
Excellent inter-personal communication and people management skills
Able to prioritise and multi-task. Great planning and implementation skills
A sense of humour, empathy and resilience.
Reliable, honest, and confident leader and team player.
You might have experience working in hotels, schools, hospitals or other large scale commercial kitchens where timely delivery of a lot of meals is priority.
