Junior IT Project ManagerAre you passionate about transforming lives through technology and education? We are looking for a proactive Junior IT Project Manager to work with an organization driving growth of a global program that empowers individuals with the skills to succeed in today's digital world. This position is an initial 12-month contract, with the potential for extension or a permanent position. You will focus on expanding a global educational program within the New Zealand education sector, driving partnerships with institutions and stakeholders to support skill development initiatives.Key Responsibilities:Drive the expansion of an educational program across New Zealand, building relationships with educational institutions and training centers.Support instructor training and development to enhance program offerings and ensure continuous engagement.Create reports and content to highlight program successes and communicate impact to stakeholders.Manage stakeholder engagement, including site visits and online interactions, to strengthen community outreach and satisfaction.Collaborate with internal and external teams to align program goals with broader social impact initiatives.Skills & Personality Fit:A self-starter who excels in building relationships, particularly within the education and public sector.Comfortable with public speaking and engaging with diverse stakeholders.Passionate about education, adaptable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.Technical expertise is not necessary, but a strong willingness to learn is essential.Preferred Experience & Background:Experience in education, partnership development, or community outreach.Strong project management skills and the ability to drive initiatives that align with social impact goals.Understanding of public sector dynamics in New Zealand, especially in vocational and technical education.Contract Details:Location: Auckland, hybrid working environment.Duration: 12-month contract, with potential for extension or a permanent role.Start Date: January 2025.Compensation: Competitive hourly rate with weekly pay.Professional Development: Opportunities for upskilling (certifications available).Why Join?This organization is dedicated to driving positive change through education, reaching millions of students globally.
