About The Company They're a long-running New Zealand international freight forwarder, offering comprehensive solutions in sea, air, and land freight.
Currently, they're going through a period of significant uptake in work and are looking to expand upon their Customer Service Team in their Central Auckland branch.
This is a great chance for someone at the beginning of their freight forwarding career to jump into a company with a strong industry presence in an entry-level position.
About The Role In this Customer Service Support role, you'll be reporting to the Customer Service Manager, helping to support the team in day-to-day operations.
Your tasks will include: Track and book orders, ensuring timely and accurate documentation.
Liaise with overseas agents and transport companies for shipment updates and deliveries.
Manage detention and assist with customer reporting and rate cards.
Provide customer service support, coordinating with internal departments to meet shipment requirements.
About You As the successful candidate, you will have some previous supply chain, logistics or freight forwarding experience, which you're looking to expand and grow upon with your career.
You will also have: Proficient Microsoft Excel ability & good typing speed.
Ability to self-motivate and prioritise daily workloads.
Excellent, detailed written and verbal communication.
Resiliency and the ability to operate in a high-pressure work environment.
