Due to the recent growth and subsequent increase of demand, we are now looking for a Graduate Automation Engineer to join our engineering team based in our Whangarei Head Office. You will work collaboratively with our team of engineers who are well-versed in the latest technologies and methodologies to deliver innovative and efficient automation solutions that optimize operations on a diverse range of projects.

As a graduate automation engineer you will need: Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.Experience in one or more of a variety of industries, preferably Water, Dairy, Power Generation and Distribution, Petrochemical, Marine and/or Infrastructure is advantageous but not essential. Strong understanding of PLC, SCADA, telemetry and HMI programming, communication solutions, and integration with 3rd party software and databases. Passionate about the latest available technology in automation and control.Familiarity with industry standards and best practices in automation. Particularly AS/NZ3000 Wiring Rules and Regs.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. The ability to check the accuracy of your own work.
