Judges' Clerk - North Shore District Court
We are looking for a talented individual to join our District Court as a Judges' Clerk in North Shore.
Te Haeata / The OpportunityThe Judges Clerk will be expected to provide high quality research and support to District Court Judges and Community Magistrates, and to support the Judges and Community Magistrates in determining legal issues effectively.

You will have an LLB with a good academic record, excellent written communication skills, and good computer literacy.You are experienced at working independently towards deadlines, and able to manage the pressures of your workload while maintaining confidentiality.You are also able to consider the practicality of outcomes as well as their legality.This position is for 2 years fixed term and you will be located at the North Shore District Court.

The District Courts Operational unit is comprised of four main jurisdictions: Criminal, Family, Youth, and Civil. It is responsible for providing the infrastructure and support necessary for the efficient and effective management of the Courts systems throughout New Zealand.
