Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, this role will lead a small team (comprising an IT Specialist and a Business Application Specialist) and play a crucial role in supporting Fern's IT infrastructure. While this is a Team Leader position, it demands a high level of technical expertise in system engineering and administration. You will manage our IT systems, including servers, networks, and applications, ensuring they operate securely and efficiently to meet our business needs.Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership and Mentorship: Manage, mentor, and support a small IT team to achieve objectives, working closely with the Business Intelligence Specialist to drive our Digital and Systems Roadmap.System Management and Support: Proactively manage and support IT systems, tools, and services, collaborating with external service providers to ensure market-leading stability, reliability, security, and performance.Project Leadership: Play a pivotal role in projects to optimise digital solutions and drive business outcomes.
