It Operations Manager

Our client is seeking a seasoned IT Operations Manager to join their team in Auckland. This role is pivotal in the strategy planning, implementation, and performance of the IT function. You will be leading a team of dedicated professionals in a global company with a strong presence in the financial or insurance industry. The successful candidate will have a sound knowledge of software engineering, infrastructure exposure, and expertise in distributed technologies.
What you'll do:Develop and implement strategic plans for the IT functionLead a team of IT professionals towards achieving company goalsLeverage your knowledge of software engineering to drive innovationBring your experience from working in global companies to bear on our operationsDemonstrate expertise in distributed technologies such as SPP product, .NET C#, Angular, React, RESTful API, JSON and SOAP.Stay ahead of the curve by implementing cloud-based technologiesWhat you bring:Minimum 12 years' experience in the IT industryAt least 7 years' management experienceProven track record in strategy planning and implementationStrong knowledge of software engineering principlesExperience managing infrastructure exposureExperience working in a global company environmentExpertise in distributed technologies: SPP product, .NET C#, Angular, React, RESTful API, JSON and SOAP.Familiarity with cloud-based technologiesWhat sets this company apart:Our client is a global player in the financial or insurance industry.
